Conceived by Disco Superstar Amy Douglas (DFA Records, Horse Meat Disco, The Black Madonna), and Horse Meat Disco member Jim Stanton, Head is an immersive global gypsy tribe, a party and content making machine alike, devoted to making your brain shake and your soul quiver.
Formed by a desire to explore more immersive psychedelic and cerebral impacting content one phone call at 5am has yielded a new boogie supergroup consisting of the aforementioned Ms. Douglas and Mr. Stanton, and including Moon Boots and Michael The Lion vocalist Steven Klavier, Mexico City’s DJ Superstar and Tastemaker, Paurro, Spoken word goddess, Cat P, and on production duties, the engine of Ladyballs records, Amy’s
partner in all things music, Mr. Tim Wagner also of Our Starry Universe and Birds of Pandaemonium.
A cover and accompanying video of Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s “Two Tribes” is the first offering from this, the Tribe of Ladyballs Records. This promises to have a most “heady” impact.
